🫀 American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Renewal Course
This American Heart Association ACLS Renewal Course is designed for healthcare professionals who direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies.
Participants are expected to arrive prepared with a strong understanding of ACLS algorithms, ECG rhythm recognition, pharmacology, and current BLS skills.
⚠️ Failure to complete all precourse requirements will result in being turned away on the day of class.

📖 ACLS Provider Manual (Required)
Secure a 2025 ACLS Provider Manual and bring it to class.
Options:
• Borrow a manual from your manager or educator
• Purchase a manual through the American Heart Association:

💻 ACLS Precourse Self-Assessment (Required)
Complete the ACLS Precourse Self-Assessment:

Instructions:
Create an eLearning account if needed.
Select "Courses."
Locate and launch the ACLS Precourse Self-Assessment.
Complete the assessment.
Print your completion certificate.
📄 Bring to Class:
• Precourse Self-Assessment Completion Certificate
• Current Unexpired ACLS Provider Card
• 2025 ACLS Provider Manual
⚠️ Participants will be tested on 1-Rescuer Adult CPR and AED Skills at the beginning of the course. CPR and AED instruction will not be provided during the ACLS Renewal Course.

✅ Course Completion Requirements
To successfully complete the ACLS Renewal Course, participants must:
✔️ Complete the ACLS Precourse Self-Assessment
✔️ Attend the entire course
✔️ Successfully complete:
• Management of Respiratory Arrest Bag-Valve Ventilation Skills Test
• 1-Rescuer Adult CPR & AED Skills Test
• ACLS Mega-Code Simulation
✔️ Pass the written examination with a score of 84% or higher
✔️ Submit a completed course evaluation
Participants who do not pass the written examination may retest within 30 days.
🏅 Upon successful completion, participants will receive an American Heart Association ACLS Provider eCard.

👕 What to Wear
Please wear loose, comfortable clothing suitable for hands-on skills practice.
Participants will be required to:
• Kneel
• Bend
• Stand for extended periods
• Perform CPR skills on the floor
If you have a physical condition that may limit participation, please notify an instructor before class.
