Safe Sitter

Friday, April 10, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM

This instructor-led class is designed to prepare students in grades 6–8 to stay safe when they’re home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. The course includes fun games and role-playing activities to keep students engaged while they learn important skills.

Participants will have the chance to practice rescue techniques such as choking rescue and CPR; however, they will not receive CPR certification.

There will be a 30 minute lunch break during the class. Participants must bring their own lunch that does not require refrigeration.

Location: Jones Atrium: Basement of Hospital - room access off the cafeteria.
