Onconephrology for Medical Professionals

Encouraging Professional Development in the Field of Onconephrology

In recent years, onconephrology has emerged as an evolving medical subspecialty that focuses on the treatment of kidney-related complications in cancer patients. This rapidly growing field has the goal of educating and supporting the clinical, educational and research needs that exist at the intersection of oncology and nephrology.

Refer a Patient

Our onconephrology specialists see patients at three locations in the UH system. To refer a patient, call 216-428-8211.

As a key part of the Onconephrology program, UH Seidman Cancer Center is the only hospital in Ohio that offers a dedicated onconephrology inpatient consult service; through this service, an onconephrologist is available 24/7 to support our medical oncologists whenever a hospitalized cancer patient requires kidney care.
