Overview
This course is designed to be an overview of the use of endoscopy in all aspects of bariatric surgery. Endoscopy has been an essential component of bariatrics at this institution, and through this course, attendees will learn that endoscopy is essential to a successful bariatric practice. Attendees will learn basic endoscopic techniques, how endoscopy can be applied in the care of the bariatric patient, and where endoscopy can be used both diagnostically and therapeutically.

- Recognize anatomy endoscopically after bariatric surgery
- Implement therapeutic endoscopic techniques for complications after bariatric surgery
- Describe endoscopic procedures used for weight loss
- Apply different endoscopic instruments and techniques available for optimal care of the bariatric patient
