Joshua Miller, DO, FACP, is a board-certified internal medicine physician with UH Select, University Hospitals’ membership-based concierge primary care practice. Known for his compassionate, relationship-centered approach to care, Dr. Miller is dedicated to creating an exceptional patient experience built on trust, accessibility and personalized attention. His clinical interests include the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diabetes, obesity, hypertension and many sports-related issues.

Before joining University Hospitals, Dr. Miller spent 27 years with Cleveland Clinic, where he established himself as a highly respected physician leader both locally and nationally. Throughout his career, he held numerous senior leadership roles, including Medical Director of multiple family health centers, Interim President of South Pointe Hospital, Chief Medical Officer of Hillcrest Hospital and Vice President of Cleveland Clinic Regional Hospitals & Family Health Centers. In addition to his executive leadership responsibilities, he served on multiple Cleveland Clinic regional hospital boards, helping guide strategic initiatives focused on patient care, operational excellence and community health.

As Vice President, Dr. Miller oversaw the daily operations of more than 50 ambulatory centers and 4,000 caregivers serving approximately 2.5 million patient visits annually. He played a key role in driving regional growth while leading innovative initiatives focused on improving quality, efficiency and the patient experience. Among his accomplishments were helping develop Cleveland Clinic’s concierge-style patient check-in model, implementing operational daily huddles and contributing to the design of a more patient-centered exam room experience. Despite his extensive executive responsibilities, Dr. Miller remained deeply committed to patient care. His own clinical practice consistently achieved patient experience and communication scores in the 99th percentile, reflecting the empathy, attentiveness and personal connection that define his approach to medicine.

Dr. Miller earned his Bachelor of Science in biology from Indiana University and his medical degree from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Cleveland Clinic.

Deeply committed to service and community leadership, Dr. Miller currently serves as Board Chair of MedWish Medworks and has served as a board member for the Jewish Family Service Association as well as a member of the advisory board for the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Miller and his wife, Jill Miller, MD, who is also a provider with UH Select, live in Beachwood and have three adult children.
