About
Rebecca Flyckt, MD, is Division Chief of Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility and Advanced GYN Surgery at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and the Medical Director of the University Hospitals Fertility Center. She is also Professor of Reproductive Biology at Case Western Reserve University.
Dr. Flyckt is a nationally known reproductive surgeon with specific interests in reproductive tissue transplantation, endometriosis and fertility preservation. She has published over 100 published peer-reviewed manuscripts in these areas and was principal investigator in the clinical trial that resulted in the first live birth from a uterine transplant using a deceased donor in the U.S.
Dr. Flyckt has served as president of the Society of Reproductive Surgeons and academic director of the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She is on the editorial board of the journal Fertility and Sterility and serves on the Practice Committee of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
Dr. Flyckt created the Surgical Scholars Track at UH and has a passion for training the next generation of leaders in the field of reproductive surgery.
