Dr Borus is a treasure. *** is where the doctors bring their kids (my spouse and I are docs and we keep finding more colleagues who bring their kids there). We love being able to see and talk to a real doctor and not be punted to midlevels ***. Our neighbors also bring their kids to *** and we all universally love the docs there, especially Dr. Borus.

Dr. Borus always addresses my son and listens carefully to him. If my son needs additional information, they include me in the conversation. But my son is the patient and Dr Borus treats him respectfully as the most informed person on his own health. I love that about him. My son trusts Dr. Borus and can talk to him. Dr. Borus is a kind and knowledgeable physician.

Our family loves Dr. Boris. He has been a wonderful diagnostician and has always been easy to talk to, nonjudgmental, thorough, and kind. He has handled very sensitive situations professionally and compassionately. He is my sons primary pediatrician and my daughter sees him often. We are lucky to have him.

My son has been seeing Dr. Borus since we moved here 16 years ago. He is the absolute best doctor anyone could ask for. He is smart, kind, empathetic, and an amazing listener. He answers every question patiently and in a way that makes you feel very confident in his care. He understands the kids and has a fantastic rapport with them, and somehow addresses all of my concerns as a parent without skipping a beat. He is amazing and I would recommend him to anyone and everyone.

Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
