Each and every bite of food is “coding” men’s bodies to develop disease or become the healthiest version of themselves. Men are at higher risk of many serious diseases than women and die an average of seven years earlier than women. Many men know they should eat healthier, yet they can lose their way when it comes to following good nutritional habits.

UH Cutler Center for Men dietitians Heather Butscher, MS, RDN, LD, FAND and David Yakunich, MS, RDN, LD look to help men get back on track as they share a closer look at the health disparities that exist, and how nutrition plays a crucial part in closing the gap. Their health talk aims to help men reach their true, natural potential of health and physical vibrancy by breaking things down to manageable bites of information.
