Is that poop normal? How much tummy time do they need? Are they eating enough? When should they roll over? Am I doing this right? There are so many questions as a new parent, so choosing the right pediatric provider for your baby is an important part of parenting. After all, this provider will shepherd your little one through key milestones, coughs and colds, and everything in between. They will likely become a trusted resource you can count on for advice, support, and care for your child when they need it most. While pregnancy and parenting look different to everyone, there’s one experience that every parent and parent-to-be is familiar with: doctor’s visits, and lots of them! They don’t end when the baby is born either, as you will visit with baby’s pediatrician at least eight times for the first year of their life (and probably more). Join UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s pediatric providers, Lauren Beene, MD, and Elana Richter, CNP, CLC, to learn about choosing a pediatric provider and what to expect during doctors visits and those early months with baby.
