October 06, 2020
University Hospitals invites you to a virtual town hall on racism and public health. The panel discussion will focus on the City of Cleveland’s recent resolution declaring racism as a public health crisis, and actions that are needed – now and going forward – to address disparities in health care, and advance equity and justice. Panelists will include Cleveland Councilman Basheer Jones, UH Chief Diversity Officer Margaret Larkins-Pettigrew, MD, and Cleveland Foundation Arts & Culture and Racial Equity Program Director Courtenay Barton. Attendees will have the opportunity to submit questions as part of the live Q&A discussion. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required.
