Each year, approximately six million Americans suffer from wounds caused by diabetes, circulatory problems, and other serious conditions. Studies have shown that dedicated wound treatment facilities can improve outcomes for patients suffering from non-healing and chronic wounds. Please join Beth Pacovsky (Program Director) and Liming Yu, MD (Medical Director) from Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Center at UH Geauga Medical Center, a campus of UH Regional Hospitals to learn more regarding wounds treatment, including when to see a specialist and the latest treatment options available to help manage your health for improved quality of life. Dr. Yu is also a board certified general surgeon with expertise in minimally invasive surgery. He is fluent in Chinese and English languages. An audience question and answer feature is included.
