The fellow will have increasing levels of clinical responsibilities for the care of the orthopedic injuries in these patients. The fellow will also be expected to perform clinical and/or basic science research in the field of Orthopedic Traumatology.
The fellow will work closely with our full-time trauma faculty of five fellowship-trained orthopedic traumatologists.
The one year program features a variety of research opportunities, including clinical research using Orthopedic Trauma or General Trauma registry. The fellow will be intricately involved in new and ongoing prospective clinical studies. There is also an orthopedic biomechanic lab available.
We offer one fellowship position per year, with a stipend of $50,000. Qualified applicants will have successfully completed an accredited orthopedic residency and be eligible for an Ohio medical license.
Duration: one year
