Infectious Diseases Fellowship Research

Major research programs in the Division of Infectious Diseases & HIV Medicine focus on basic and translational research in antimicrobial resistance, HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis. The research involves biochemistry, immunology, microbiology and human genetics in the context of epidemiological and observational studies as well as clinical trials in these three focus areas. The Division has long-standing international research activities in TB and HIV/AIDS with Uganda.
