Patient Care Advocacy Program Helps Resolve Problems

University Hospitals patient care advocates can answer questions and help patients resolve issues. They can help with a range of circumstances and issues, including:

  • Advance directives
  • Communication
  • General information about the hospital and community
  • Lost items
  • Policies and procedures
  • Quality of care
  • Safety

If you encounter a problem, we encourage you to talk directly with your care provider first. If this effort does not result in a satisfactory resolution, or if you would like to speak with someone else, please contact the Patient Care Advocate office. One of our representatives will investigate the problem and explore resolutions.
