Kumar Mukesh
Kumar Mukesh is currently employed at the University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center as the Director of Grants Management and Strategic Initiatives. He has been at this role for over 16 years and oversees grants management function including grants accounting, financial reporting, and strategic initiative projects involving Federal, State, Foundations, and Industry Sponsored clinical trials. He has over 30 years of experience in grants management which includes working in a hospitals setting, research university, and a major software company. Kumar is well versed in federal regulations, Uniform Guidance, Internal and External Audits, and ERP software product development and implementation. In addition, Kumar is responsible for the institutional indirect cost rate proposal, research space survey, and cross charge management of hospital based research expenses to the affiliated medical school. Kumar is an active member of professional organization for research administration with a leadership role where he has been part of the planning committee, presented concurrent sessions, and conducted workshops in research administration.
