Patient & Family Partnership Councils

Committed to Enhancing the Patient Experience at University Hospitals

At UH, we know that great care starts with understanding the needs of patients and their families. That is why we have Patient and Family Partnership Councils (PFPCs). This volunteer group partners with the hospital to improve the care experience for patients and their families.

What is a Patient and Family Partnership Council?

A PFPC is a group made up of current or former patients and family members who have received care at UH, as well as hospital staff. These volunteers are called Patient and Family Partners (PFPs) and meet to share their stories and opinions and discuss how care and the overall patient experience can be made even better.
