Fellowship Training in Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine

pulmonary fellows

The Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship Program at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, in collaboration with Case Western Reserve University and the Cleveland VA Medical Center, is designed to train physicians who have successfully completed an internal medicine residency program in the subspecialties of pulmonary and critical care medicine. The philosophy of our program is grounded in a long history of successfully training outstanding clinicians with a research focus who will become academic leaders in the field of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.

Our fellowship program is a three-year program with an optional fourth year dedicated to research.

We accept five new fellows each year.

Our fellowship is designed according to the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) guidelines and leads to board eligibility in both pulmonary medicine and critical care medicine. Graduating fellows are eligible for dual certification in pulmonary and critical care medicine.
