Our emergency room remains open 24/7/365 for walk-in emergency care. The health and safety of our patients and staff is our top priority, so we are following best practices for cleanliness, infection control and employee health at all of our facilities. Training in Emergency Services
UH Richmond Medical Center, in conjunction with the UH EMS Institute, is the region's leader in training and emergency care protocol development. Our emergency staff works closely with the region's EMS providers. ER physicians provide medical direction for over 30 EMS squads.  Due to our strong collaboration with the EMS community we have been able to enhance our ability to provide life-saving care.

Insurance & Payment

We accept all major medical insurance providers, including Medical Mutual of Ohio (MMO) SuperMed. Co-pays, deductibles and items not covered by insurance are paid at the time of your visit.

For Minor Illness or Injury

If your medical condition isn’t life-threatening, a visit to a UH Urgent Care or UH Virtual Visit may be more appropriate. If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms, please visit one of our fever clinic locations.
