We are able to transfer or refer a patient for specialty care at either UH Parma Medical Center or any of our other facilities within the University Hospitals system. Professional Educational Program for Emergency Medical Services and CPR Training

The UH EMS Training & Disaster Preparedness Institute at UH Parma Medical Center offers EMS educational opportunities and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and pediatric advanced life support (PALS) training. Our faculty of nationally registered paramedics educate and train emergency medical personnel in Parma, Parma Heights, North Royalton, Brooklyn, Brooklyn Heights, Seven Hills, Broadview Heights and Newburgh Heights. Physicians can access a wide range of useful information in one convenient place with our Physician Resource Center. The resource center offers information on referrals, continuing medical education (CME), patient care, clinical trials and research. It also offers access to our physician directory and other information about our services and programs. These resources are available for both University Hospitals physicians and health care providers outside our system.
