Rehabilitation Services at UH Amherst Health Center

Outpatient Rehabilitation Services at University Hospitals Amherst Health Center are delivered by licensed physical, occupational and speech therapy professionals.

We collaborate with the patient and their caregivers through highly skilled evaluation and interventions to address issues such as:

• Orthopedic conditions for the upper and lower extremities
• Post-surgical care
• Cognitive and functional deficits
• Neurological conditions, including stroke, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease
• Vestibular and vertigo diagnoses
• Spinal conditions
• Pelvic health
• Swallowing impairments
• Voice impairments
• Cognitive communication deficits (i.e. memory, attention, problem solving post stroke, concussion, chemo brain, etc.)
• Speech and language deficits as a result of a neurological conditions, including stroke
