Alison Kraig, CPNP, joined UH Rainbow Lorain Pediatrics in December 2023.

How old were you when you felt the call to become a doctor?

I have always been passionate about health and wellness. I shadowed different providers in college so I could figure out exactly where I fit in. I wanted to be a Nurse Practitioner and work with children my junior year of college after loving physiology and nutrition. 

Areas of clinical interest:

Nutrition, anxiety /depression and obesity prevention.

Who or what inspires you and why? 

My resilient patients!  I love seeing them grow and thrive.
