How old were you when you felt the call to become a doctor?

9 years old. 

Who or what inspires you and why? 

I was very sick when I was 9 years old. My pediatrician recognized something was wrong and started the work up and referred me to the specialists I needed to see. Together my pediatrician, the pediatric subspecialists and nurses worked together to save my life and inspired me to be the physician that I am today. 

Dog or cat?

Cat.

Coffee or tea?  

Coffee. 

Cavs, Guardians or Browns?

I am from New York originally, so I would say New York Giants.  

Favorite book (outside of medical journals)?

The Catcher in the Rye by JD Salinger.
