How old were you when you felt the call to become a nurse practitioner?

I think I always knew I wanted to pursue a career in caring for animals or people, just didn’t know to what capacity until I went to college and decided to study nursing.

Who or what inspires you and why?

My patients inspire me because I want to be better for them. They are our future and have the ability to make this world a better place.

Dog or cat?

Both, but shhhh don’t tell my dogs Murphy (soft coated wheaten terrier) and Ruby (mini golden doodle)!

Coffee or tea?

Coffee in the morning, tea at night.

Cavs, Guardians or Browns?

Here we go Brownies, here we go! Woof woof!

Favorite book (outside of medical journals)?

The Lorax by Dr. Seuss.
