Bio

Keith L. Ponitz, MD, is Medical Director of Ambulatory Services and a member of the Division of General Academic Pediatrics at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital. He is Assistant Professor, Pediatrics at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.

Dr. Ponitz is board certified in pediatrics. His clinical interests include depression, anxiety and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). His special interests include resident education, wellness, and the business of medicine. He joined the UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital staff in 1993.

Dr. Ponitz earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, Calif., graduating cum laude, and his medical degree from The University of Health Sciences, The Chicago Medical School, Chicago, Ill., where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed his residency in pediatrics at Children’s Hospital, Los Angeles, Calif.

He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, American College of Physician Executives and Association of Pediatric Program Directors.

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies.
