About
Kord Honda, MD, joined University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center as the Director of Dermatopathology in 2007 after completing his dermatopathology fellowship at the University of Cincinnati. Prior to that, he completed an internal medicine residency followed by a dermatology residency at the University of Washington (UW) in Seattle. During Dr. Honda’s time at UW, he developed the 2nd year medical student case-based dermatology curriculum. Dr. Honda has won the dermatology residency teacher of the year and mentor of the year awards. Cleveland Magazine has named him a Top Doctor.
Dr. Honda’s clinical interests include medical dermatology and cutaneous lymphomas. His research interests are in melanoma, quality care and decision making in dermatology. Dr. Honda collaborates extensively with researchers in other disciplines and enjoys mentoring residents, fellows, medical students and faculty members.
