About
Mary Alissa Willis, MD, is a Clinical Professor of Neurology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and Vice Chair for Faculty Development who provides inpatient neurology services at Cleveland Medical Center, Elyria Medical Center, Ahuja Medical Center and other UH sites.
Dr. Willis completed her Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering at Mississippi State University before finishing medical school and residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She has called Cleveland home since her clinical neuroimmunology fellowship at Cleveland Clinic in 2011.
Her clinical work has focused on multiple sclerosis, neurosarcoidosis and hospital neurology care. She remains actively engaged with research and education in neuroimmunology and serves as associate editor for the International Journal of Multiple Sclerosis Care. Dr. Willis has received multiple teaching awards, reflecting her passion for training residents and medical students. She enjoys opportunities to improve systems of care, enhance patient outcomes and foster team development.
