I was very happy with my visit. I am switching to UH after receiving poor care with *** and was happy to find Dr. Wakim. The location was convenient and I was able to see the doctor earlier than expected.
This was my first time seeing this Dr. Wakim. I needed a Primary Care Physician. There is no doubt in my mind, he's the right choice for me. He was very thorough, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. Dr. Wakim and his staff are remarkable. Since we've met, Dr. Wakim has diligently been treating me for chronic problems caused by decades-long *** undiagnosed by a former provider. In the past month, he reacted very quickly to worsening neurological symptoms by ordering MRIs, X-rays, and a referral to a spinal expert. *** I thank Dr. Wakim for catching this, for doing feeling and agility tests during our meeting, and for realizing the seriousness of the problem. He is an amazing doctor and human being.
