About
Daisy Hassani, MD, is a board-certified urogynecologist at University Hospitals. She specializes in both surgical and non-surgical treatments for pelvic floor disorders, including pelvic organ prolapse and urinary and fecal incontinence. She has particular expertise in minimally invasive vaginal and robotic surgical approaches and provides specialized care for women with complex birth injuries through the Enhanced Recovery After Delivery (ERAD) Clinic. Dr. Hassani is dedicated to a patient-centered approach, partnering with each individual to develop a tailored treatment plan.
Dr. Hassani earned her undergraduate degree cum laude from Princeton University and her medical degree from Northwestern University. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at the University of Pennsylvania.
Passionate about training future physicians, Dr. Hassani serves as the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clerkship Director for Case Western Reserve University medical students at University Hospitals. She is also a steering committee member for the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons Pelvic Anatomy Group, where she works to advance female pelvic anatomy education for the next generation of doctors.
