About

Megan Cavataio, MD, is a pediatrician with University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital. She sees patients at locations in Hudson and Fairlawn, Ohio. She enjoys caring for children through every stage of development and places a strong emphasis on preventive care, child and adolescent mental health, patient education, and supporting children’s emotional and social well-being.

Dr. Cavataio attended Whitworth University (Spokane, Washington), where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in biology and chemistry with a minor in Spanish, graduating summa cum laude in 2018. After she earned her Doctor of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine (Cleveland, Ohio) in 2023, Dr. Cavataio completed a residency in pediatrics at UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital in 2026.

Dr. Cavataio believes that being a good pediatrician begins with being a good listener. She values building trusting, long-term relationships with families and strives to create a welcoming environment where parents feel comfortable asking questions, sharing concerns and actively participating in their child’s care. With an approach grounded in compassion and evidence-based medicine, she is passionate about supporting families as they seek to raise healthy, resilient children.

In her free time, Dr. Cavataio enjoys hiking in Cleveland's Metroparks, tending to her vegetable garden, cooking and spending time with her family.
