Mary should be complimented on the caring and compassionate way she interacts with patients. She went above and beyond to care for me and address my pain. She not only scheduled an upper GI Scope for future treatment, but also addressed my severe pain on the day of my appointment, suggesting that I schedule an ultrasound for my gallbladder. I ended up having to have my gallbladder removed as a result of that ultrasound. Mary assessed my pain, illness professionally and accurately. THANK YOU MARY!

Mary Yurski and nurse who went over my meds and history were very nice. The referral for visit to this office wasn't appropriate but they were helpful to give me proper referral for my medical issue.

Dr Mary was very pleasant She explained things clearly and gave me advice about what to do about my meds because the insurance company don't want to pay for my meds I have taken this medication for a while and works better than anything else

She was very good and had a lot of my medical records and medication. I didn't expect this because it was the first time I had been with her. For me, she went very fast, I was not able to digest all the information she was telling me. She was on something else before I could ask questions. She didn't get me anytime to ask questions.

Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.

As of December 31, 2016, Mary Yursky did not disclose any Outside Relationships with Industry.
