Katherine Bruening Wajda, MD, is a pulmonary and critical care physician at University Hospitals specializing in asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and cystic fibrosis. Dr. Wajda is board certified in pulmonary disease, critical care medicine and internal medicine.
Dr. Wajda earned her medical degree from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine (Dayton, Ohio) in 2016. She began her doctoral training with a residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at Metrohealth Medical Center (Cleveland, Ohio) completed in 2020. She then completed a pulmonary and critical care fellowship at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, serving as Academic Chief Fellow from 2022 to 2023.
