Patient Experience Reviews
Dr. Vitiello is great. She answers all our questions and is very calm and understanding with everything going on
Dr Vitiello is amazing! We love her!
I really don't have anything negative to say about Dr. V. She makes my kid feel very comfortable at visits while also taking the time to answer any questions I have as a parent.
Angela Vitiello is the best!
We can't say enough great things about Dr. Vitiello. She is so caring, knowledgeable & wonderful. My daughter is so fortunate to have her as her doctor. On this visit we had nurse *** who was fantastic.
Dr. Vitiello took time to explain the shots he was receiving and always tries to ask and give advice in a manner that children can understand. She is wonderful and I would highly recommend.
Dr Vitiello is AMAZING! I wish she could not only indefinitely be my children's dr but our entire family dr. I've struggled through the years to find someone like Dr V under GP care. I was ecstatic when we encountered Dr V years ago when my daughter was young. She was the first Dr that truly listened to our concerns and allowed us to be heard. She's incredible! My kids love her and so do we
Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
