Kimberly Tufts, CNP

Kimberly Tufts, CNP, is an advanced practice registered nurse with the radiation oncology team at University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center. Board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, she has a State of Ohio Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License and a State of Ohio Registered Nurse License. She specializes in providing care to patients with breast cancer, gastrointestinal cancers, gynecologic cancers and thoracic cancers who have received radiation therapy.

Tufts earned her Associate Degree of Applied Science in Nursing at Cuyahoga Community College (Cleveland, Ohio) in 2009. After completing the RN-BSN Online Academic Outreach Initiative Program at Ohio University (Athens, Ohio) in 2012, Tufts attended Ursuline College (Pepper Pike, Ohio), where she earned a Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner in 2019.

Prior to joining UH Seidman Cancer Center in 2019, Tufts worked as a registered nurse for the Medical Surgical Unit at University Hospitals (February 2010 – May 2013) and the Endoscopy Unit at Cleveland Clinic Foundation (June 2013 to September 2019). The recipient of the Clinical Excellence Award for Medical Surgical Nursing (2012), Tufts has served in leadership roles that include Quality Improvement Committee Member and Shared Governance Member.
