Dr. Vince always stops what he is doing and gives me his full attention when I have a question. I really appreciate that because I feel like I am really being listened to...he is hearing what I am saying, rather than just hearing me talk. Couldn't ask for a better doctor. And it is always nice to talk to *** when I come in.

Dr. Sustersic is one of a kind and is very calm and practical.
I've gone to Dr Vincent Sustersic on and off for decades. I've gone to other doctors and he's one of the best! He actually listens to patient concerns and provides common sense feedback. He's a rare throwback to hometown doctors that truly cared for their patients. He listens and isn't typing away taking notes when the patient talks. At the end of the discussion, he quickly records his thoughts. He's also very empathetic. Too many of your doctors are going through the motions for the 15-20 mins they get with patients, typing up notes and not actively listening, and then the nurses and docs get the information wrong and it's in my chart and I have no way of correcting it. My wait time was a bit longer, but I'm ok with that, because I know he's invested in his patients and sometimes it takes a bit longer. Vincent Sustersic is an excellent doctor that I would highly recommend.

Dr. Sustersic is an excellent clinician. He diagnosed a heart problem after listening with a stethoscope and confirmed with an ECG. He made a referral to a cardiologist and had blood work done in his office in preparation for the specialist. This was a routine appointment. I did not have any symptoms.

Dr. Sustersic saved my life. The whole process worked exactly the way it is supposed to. I am in excellent health. I had some chest pains. I called the office. He brought me in the next day. He scheduled my stress test for the next morning. They saw a problem and scheduled a heart cath. The cardiologist saw a problem and scheduled surgery. The surgical team completed a triple bypass.Everyone at UH treated me like a VIP.My PCP is a super-hero. Thank God for him, and for ***, and for the rest of the caregivers there.
