This was my second appointment with Doctor. I felt more comfortable and she is very kind and professional. She speaks very quietly *** I have some hearing loss and had to ask her to repeat herself a few times. I really like her though! Our doctor of over 30 years retired and it's difficult to look for that same sense of comfort and familiarity. But I felt more at ease this time and am hoping we can build a confident and trusting relationship.

My pcp retired and I chose Dr Stanescu. I prefer a female physician. I have been a UH patient more than 30 years with several serious health issues. She was very thorough and definitely reviewed my medical records. She took her time and was very empathetic to me. I knew I had selected the best primary care physician and I have confidence in her abilities to provide care.
I wanted to schedule my own appointment. Provider very pleasant, explained about test ordered.
Dr Stanescu and Nurse *** are a great team. Both are thorough and show attention, competence, and kindness.

Dr. Stanescu and I discussed my blood pressure, after I had fainted during a party, which was the reason for the office visit. All of my concerns were addressed and a blood test ordered. Dr. Stanescu took the time to listen to me and the details of the fainting incident. She provided an explanation for my low blood pressure which relieved my anxiety. A follow up appointment was scheduled.

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes.
