The experience was quite comfortable , informative and courteous.
This was my first time meeting the cardiology nurse practitioner and I was a bit skeptical at first. She was very easy to talk to and discuss my concerns with, she understood what had happened and my concerns to get back to a very physically active lifestyle and understood my concerns about side effects from the statins. She was quick to discuss decreasing the dose since I am experiencing terrible pain all the time and since my cholesterol is in the target range.

I had sent a message to Kathryn Skrout, the provider, a couple of days before my visit, explaining the problem in detail, and I was delighted to discover that she had read it before she saw me. But that is the way she is, very thorough, very dedicated to good outcomes for her patients.
