Patient Experience Reviews
Excellent explained all options so u completely understood what outcome they were wanting to achieve
Exceptional experience with Dr. Marvin Sih MD, his RN *** and Secretary ***. I have always had excellent care and treatment at UH and it is why I choose to drive the distance from *** vs using my local health care system. I trust my UH Physicians knowing that I will receive and have received the optimal care and treatment for my medical problems since ***.
Dr. Sih is a kind, concerned doctor who gave me some good advice about my illnesses (trigeminal neuralgia and MS) and asked about an MRI and using a walker rather than a cane, and he thought that I probably now need physical therapy because I now have poorer balance thanBefore.I I hadn't paid much attention during my previous visit, but I realize that he is correct. I am now using my walker more and my personal physician has arranged for PT at home. Thanks to Dr. Sih.
Dr.Sih and staff are the best, the most compassionate, and genuine people, who truly want to help.
My visit went very smoothly. Staff was very attentive.
On every occasion I've interacted with Dr. Sih, initial virtual appt, in office appt & during phone calls, he explained things in way I understood & when I didn't understand/needed clarification he explained it in way until he knew I understood. He's "real" during all interactions. He's called me after he got test results & to clarify FMLA paperwork. He's actually one who calledNot someone else from his office. He's only been my neurologist for 5 weeks & in that short time I trust & respect him & appreciate his commitment to me as his patient!
Excellent Dr and staff!.. Very knowledgeable, passionate, professional..Definitely an asset to UH

Having seen a doctor in a different practice over a nine month period this was the first time I felt hope that my reason for seeing a doctor would be resolved

Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.

As of December 31, 2016, Marvin Sih did not disclose any Outside Relationships with Industry.
