Khooshali Shah, MD, MBA, is an obstetrician and gynecologist at University Hospitals. She practices at UH Lake West Perrico Health Center in Willoughby, Ohio. Dr. Shah is passionate about women’s health and caring for women in the community. She has a special interest in gynecologic surgery, robotic surgery and gestational diabetes.
Dr. Shah earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio, and her medical degree at Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) in Rootstown, Ohio. She also earned a Master of Business Administration degree from University of Akron Graduate College of Business.
Dr. Shah went on to complete her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital in Akron, Ohio, and Crozer Chester Medical Center in Upland, Pennsylvania, where she served as chief resident.
Another one of Dr. Shah’s special interests is medical education and training the next generation of physicians. During her residency, she received the 2024 Medical Student Teaching Award for exhibiting excellence in medical student education as a resident physician.
