Good
Dr. Segal is a wonderful provider, he is kind and patient and looked at me when I talked to him. He has a perfect bedside manner and made me feel like he was interested in me. He and Dr. *** are the two best doctors that has provided me care.
Dr. Segal was terrific. He spent about 45 minutes with me to assess my bone problem and explore solutions. I wish that he had introduced himself and had eye contact at the beginning of this first visit. He came Into the room quietly and sat at the computer for a few minutes to review my records. He was friendly after that, but the beginning of the visit was awkward.
The dr and staff are always polite and caring I appreciate all of them
Competent, caring and conscientious!

I had an excellent experience with my doctor
Excellent experience with this provider. He is a specialist, not my internist. So we talked about my recent bone density scan and my progress and continued plans. This doctor has turned around my serious situation into a very hopeful and positive outcome!
Dr. Segal is the best Rheumatologist I have seen since my diagnosis and I hope to continue to be able to see him for my health care needs!

Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
