About
Alexis is an experienced Nurse Practitioner with a demonstrated history of working in health care and neurology since 2017. Prior to that she worked in geriatrics for about 1.5 years as an NP. She obtained her BSN and MSN from The University of Akron. She is skilled in deep brain stimulation, baclofen pumps, injections for migraines and sialorrhea, headache management, and nursing. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and The International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society.

I never got to see or talk with the doctor I was supposed to have an appointment with. I was totally with his assistant the entire time. She seemed to be very knowlegable but a bit of attention by the main doctor would have been nice, and I resented the fact that he never made an appearance.

At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized.
