About
David Rosenberg, MD, MPH, graduated from Case Western Reeve School of Medicine in 1974. After completing his internal medicine residency at the Duke University Medical Center (1974-1976), he completed a pulmonary fellowship at National Institute of Health (NIH) in Bethesda Maryland (1976-1979). The main research interest of NIH’s Pulmonary Brand at that time was interstitial lung disease (ILD). Dr. Rosenberg was involved with the landmark clinical research that developed the bronchoalveolar lavage technique for evaluating ILD. In 1996, he obtained a Master of Public Health from the Medical College of Wisconsin.
From 1997 to 2018, Dr. Rosenberg served as Medical Director for University Hospitals Corporate Health. He was one of two physicians inducted into the 2023 Class of the University Hospitals Distinguished Physician Award at the Annual Society of 1866 Celebration. This prestigious honor recognizes senior clinicians who serve as outstanding mentors, role models and experts in their respective fields.

This was my first visit with Dr. Rosenberg and he was a referral from a friend. He was thorough and listened as I was explaining the condition and my concerns. Very cordial. Took notes. Gave me an explained exam. We spoke afterwards. My illness wasn't as serious as I personally anticipated and he put me at ease and peace of mind. I have a follow up for a CT scan and make an appointment for 3 months!
