About
Tyler Reimschisel, MD, is the division chief of Pediatric Neurology and Epilepsy at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital, senior attending physician in the UH Center for Human Genetics, and professor in the Departments of Pediatrics & Genetics and Genome Sciences within the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
As a pediatric neurologist and biochemical geneticist, Dr. Reimschisel’s primary clinical interests include the interprofessional evaluation and management of children, adolescents and adults with inborn metabolic diseases and other genetic conditions that cause neurodevelopmental disabilities, such as global developmental delay, intellectual disability, autism, epilepsy and cerebral palsy. He also provides care to pediatric patients with neurologic conditions, including developmental delay, intellectual disability, autism, seizures and headaches.
Dr. Reimschisel earned his medical degree at Rush Medical College in Chicago and completed residencies in pediatrics, child neurology, clinical genetics and clinical biochemical genetics at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. He is board-certified in child neurology, clinical genetics and clinical biochemical genetics.
As a certified coach and the founder of Holistic Teaming, LLC, Dr. Reimschisel provides individual executive and team coaching, team development and team training in clinical, academic, nonprofit, corporate and community settings.
