Patient Experience Reviews
Dr. Pluskota is very good and professional and I feel that I am in good hands and my health problem is addressed in the best possible way.
I would highly recommend this doctor
Dr. Pluskota is fantastic. ***
Patient,caring and concerned
The receptionist was very kind. This is so important. The doctor and my nurse were friendly, well spoken, and very informative. All in all, I felt valued and truly cared for. You just do not always see this in the workplace or every healthcare provider, but UH seems to do a very good job and must have quality leadership. Thank you!
This was my first time seeing this doctor for my colonoscopy. I was very pleased with the entire experience.
This was the very first time I was able to say this appointment was amazing. The Dr, and all the staff was excellent.
Everyone treated me like I was the only one there. Very professional and kind. Very nice attitudes.
Dr. Pluskota is an amazing GI. I am 40yo and he performed my first colonoscopy, which was a much easier and comfortable process than I expected, and he has been guiding me as I have recently developed IBS. He is patient, he listens, and I am confident in the care that he provides. I could not recommend him enough and am grateful that he chose this as his career.

Was very impressed with the physician. Took time to explain in detail regarding my symptoms and progression. Highly recommend this physician.
Excellent experience
Dr. Pluskota is fantastic. He helped me when 4 others could not. He answers all my questions and put together a comprehensive plan that has made a huge difference in how I'm feeling. I'm lucky to be his patient, and deeply grateful for his help.
Excellent staff and care provided
Dr Pluskota is excellant
Provider was excellent. Conversation with nurse prior to procedure was confusion and concerning. She informed me that I may not have prepared properly for the procedure if I followed the email instructions instead of the instructions from a phone call a few days before. I clarified with her that the email instructions were not considered accurate and that was why a phone call was necessary. I was very anxious going into the procedure. Email instructions should be updated and accurate.
I'm so glad I found this Dr. He really shows care and compassion.
Very pleasant experience
He was a breath of spring air! Honest, tactful, and really caring.
Awesome physician hes caring and empathetic actively listen. Great office staff
Dr. Pluskota was wonderful. It was the first time in a lot of years a specialist listened to me and addressed every question and concern I had. That was totally marvelous.
I would definitely schedule another appointment with this provider if needed in the future.
Dr Pluskota always listens, he's very empathetic.
He was very nice and explained everything thoroughly. He was also very apologetic for the delays to my appointment.
Very thorough provider
Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
