Nick Pesa, MD, is a critical care anesthesiologist and associate program director for anesthesiology at University Hospitals. He is also division chief of transplant anesthesia and chief quality officer of critical care medicine in the Department of Anesthesiology. Dr. Pesa is an assistant professor of anesthesiology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and is board certified in both anesthesiology and critical care medicine.

Dr. Pesa is a native of Cleveland. He earned both his undergraduate degree and his medical degree at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. He completed residency training in anesthesiology and a critical care fellowship at University Hospitals in Cleveland.
