Kylee Pesa, PA-C

Kylee Pesa, DMSc, PA-C, is the Division Lead Advanced Practice Provider for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. She specializes in complex surgical care and microsurgery and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Pesa earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut and completed clinical training in diagnostic genetic sciences at Columbia University before working as a cytogenetic technologist. She went on to earn her Master of Science in physician assistant studies from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She earned her Doctor of Medical Science degree from the University of Lynchburg and completed microsurgery certification through Cleveland Clinic. She is also certified in da Vinci robotic surgery.

Pesa began her PA career in women’s health, practicing in obstetrics and gynecology. Following her father’s diagnosis of esophageal cancer, she transitioned into thoracic and esophageal surgery, where she practiced for 13 years caring for complex surgical and oncology patients. Pesa later stepped into a leadership role in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
