Joe P. Is the best he ia so helpful and takes the time to listen to my kids as myself. (All of my kids love him) the moat impressive thing I have evwr seen is that he calls after hours at times to make sure kids doing okay or following up.... Never have seen this happen in all my experience with any type of medical / physicians. He goes above and beyond to be helpful and my family appreciates that so much. I recommend him to everyone I know for a great pediatric experience.

Joe was superior! His bedside manner is excellent. His thorough explanation toward next steps was done in a simple yet specific manner. His follow up prompt and with concern. Our daughter was bitten by a large dog breed that weekend, was treated via ER however infection had set in. Joe immediately assessed the situation and offered up the best course of action which was to retreat via a pediatric children's hospital where a trained medical staff could treat the wound accordingly. He delivered the message to myself as the Mother without putting fear or worry into my head. Joe is a Godsend to your medical community.

Joe always makes my son feel very comfortable to tell him what is bothering him or how he is feeling. There is a trust built up now between Joe and my son, which is why we continue to ask to see Joe. Joe is easy going and pays attention when my son or I are talking.

Joe is wonderful in being attentive and asking questions and clearly explaining everything. The front office person and nurse were both very friendly and helpful also. The receptionist did notify us it was a very busy day and they were a bit behind.

He was very personable and when my daughter was acting nervous, he was very kind and gentle. By the end of the exam she was very chatty with him because she felt comfortable.

Joe has been seeing my now legally adopted twin boys since they were newborns. He has always been AMAZING with them since they have both had so many health issues. I trust him and will never go to anyone else. I hope we never have too. We love all of the providers in the UH rainbows group. Joe is our fav though.

Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
