Doctor Olario is a fine doctor. I feel comfortable that I'm getting the best possible care.

Dr. Olariou is great! Her staff is also. The receptionists are a major improvement over other visits, although honestly, I don't believe I've seen the same people more than once. I feel obligated to mention that my major concern Is the medical corporation. I generally feel that although I trust the doctor, UH merely views me as an Income stream, and pushes for more tests, procedures, and medications than are warranted. I also get the Impression that my privacy Is more Important to the doctor and her staff than to UH overall. Also the new "My Chart" system makes It more difficult to reschedule an appointment than the last system used. Thanks for listening!

Very happy with the care I received and feel like someone is finally giving my back issues the proper attention not to mention she told me more than the spine specialist who saw me from the ***. Part of the reason I left there and came to UH. Could not be happier with my new PCP.

Excellent physician and MA. I came in for labs a few weeks ago and did not realize it was moved to the lower level. I inquired at the front desk. Very rude man! He talked down to me and was clearly annoyed I bothered him with a question. He does not like his job! When I came in *** I avoided his window! Patients are not an interruption in his day; it is the reason he is there.

The care provider listened closely to any questions I had and answered them clearly. Any instructions that were issued were completely explained and written down for me to follow. The doctor has always been very thorough in communicating with me about any concerns I may have about my medical condition or treatment.

The doctor and nurse are great. They show great concern and respect for me as a client. I notice you ask NO questions about UH as a corporation. Your medical personnel seem to be just fine. The fact that your new system has other groups In your system accessing my Information Is completely disturbing. I DO NOT wish to be contacted by anyone other than my personal care physician's office. I resent being looked at as an Income stream! Thanks for listening (if you are).

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.

As of December 31, 2016, Niculina Olariu did not disclose any Outside Relationships with Industry.
