About

Andrew Norris, DO is a fellowship-trained pulmonary and critical care physician at University Hospitals. His advanced training and expertise enable him to treat patients with a wide variety of respiratory condition and critical illnesses, including asthma, COPD, bronchitis, emphysema, pulmonary emboli and more.

Dr. Norris earned his medical degree from Midwestern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. His post-doctoral training began with an emergency medicine residency at Sparrow Hospitals in Lansing, Michigan where he served on the Emergency Medicine Program Evaluation and Covid Guidelines Committees. He then completed a critical care anesthesiology fellowship at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center.

Dr. Norris is an active member of the Society of Critical Care Anesthesiologists and the American College of Emergency Physicians. Currently, he serves on the University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center Resuscitation Committee.

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
