About

Marwan G. Nasif, MD, is a general and interventional cardiologist at University Hospitals Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute. He is triple board certified in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, and advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology.

Dr. Nasif earned his medical degree from the University of Valencia Faculty of Medicine in Valencia, Spain. His postdoctoral training included a residency in internal medicine at Beaumont Health System in Royal Oak, Michigan, followed by cardiology and heart failure fellowships at University Hospitals Case Medical Center (now University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center.) He then completed an interventional cardiology fellowship at Tulane University Hospitals and Clinic in New Orleans, Louisiana.

With nearly 25 years of experience in the medical field, Dr. Nasif specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of the full span of common and complex heart conditions, including genetic heart defects, chronic high blood pressure, coronary artery disease, heart valve disorders, heart rhythm disorders, cardiomyopathies and congestive heart failure.

Dr. Nasif has co-authored publications in peer-reviewed medical journals such as the Journal of Interventional Cardiology and Catheter & Cardiovascular Interventions on interventional cardiovascular techniques for patients with heart failure.
