About
Raju Modi, MD, FACC, is an expert cardiologist and Director of System Ambulatory Cardiovascular Services at University Hospitals Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute. He is also a clinical assistant professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
Dr. Modi earned his medical degree from the Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED). His postdoctoral training included an internal medicine residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). He has been in practice for more than 20 years.
Dr. Modi is board certified in cardiovascular disease with additional certification in cardiac imaging modalities such as computed tomography (CT), echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. He has extensive expertise in preventive cardiology and invasive cardiology, diagnosing and treating the full span of heart conditions including congenital heart disease, coronary artery disease, heart rhythm disorders, heart failure and heart valve disease.
Dr. Modi is a member of national professional organizations including the American Heart Association. He has also been named a fellow of the American College of Cardiology (ACC).

Doctor fitted me in the day after I was referred instead of making me wait three months for an appointment. Showed concern about my symptoms and related health issues.
Dr. Modi is my heart specialist. He does not treat me for my general health, injury, etc., although he always goes over my medication with me and makes sure that I know what the medicine is and the condition they treat. He is always very nice, listens to your concerns and comes up with solutions to your worries.
